3-Hour Online Workshop
The traditional life review process is a well-known tool for those entering midlife and beyond who wish to recall memories, release conflicts, and find forgiveness. Contemplative teacher, retired therapist, and author Connie Zweig describes this as the ego's life review—the story we consciously lived out while we know from psychology that the personal unconscious, or shadow, carries its own stories. Making space for the shadow brings a deeper perspective to your life story and can allow you to move forward on your path with clarity and authenticity.
Join Connie for a transformative workshop exploring a unique life review process for those approaching midlife and beyond. Through a mix of lecture, journaling, and group sharing, Connie shows how to connect what was expressed in your conscious life with what was repressed and unlived in your shadow. In this way, your unlived life moves into conscious awareness, and you can reclaim some of what was sacrificed—lost dreams, talents, and opportunities for self-expression, reconciliation, and healing.
Connie invites you to shift from role to soul and to step boldly and consciously into the next chapters of your life.
Connie Zweig, PhD, is a retired therapist, co-author of Meeting the Shadow and Romancing the Shadow, author of The Inner Work of Age: Shifting from Role to Soul, which extends shadow-work into late life and teaches aging as a spiritual practice, and a novel, A Moth to the Flame: The Life of Sufi Poet Rumi. Her 2023 book, Meeting the Shadow on the Spiritual Path: The Dance of Darkness and Light in Our Search for Awakening, is now available. Connie has been doing contemplative practices for 50 years. She is a wife and grandmother and was initiated as an Elder by Sage-ing International in 2017. After investing in all these roles, she is practicing the shift from role to soul.
