Panelists
Andrea Lewis
Dr. Andrea Lewis is a Physician Assistant specializing in sexual and reproductive health, with nearly a decade of experience in sexually transmitted infections. As an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she teaches future health professionals and actively engages in community health initiatives. Dr. Lewis is dedicated to advancing sexual health education, improving access to reproductive care, and empowering underrepresented communities. As the first Black Valedictorian of her PA class at Rutgers University, she continues to break barriers and advocate for transformative change in sexual health care.
Estefanía Simich Muñoz
Estefanía Simich Muñoz Ph.D., LCPC, CST, CST-S is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor in Maryland. She owns a bilingual sexuality practice in Baltimore, where she focuses on healing ancestral wounds through holistic and shamanic approaches. Passionate about supporting migrant populations affected by violence and trauma, she also works with diverse couples. With experience as an immigration court expert, Dr. Muñoz integrates an intersectional lens into her teaching, fostering a safe space for clinicians to develop their professional identities.
Giacinta Talarico
Dr. Talarico is a clinician and researcher whose work focuses on improving wellbeing and health equity for all people with special attention to LGBTQIA+ and multiply-minoritized populations. In her clinical practice, she specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ people and their partners, as well as with other minoritized sexualities. Her mixed-methods research focuses on better understanding resilience among multiply-minoritized populations and decolonizing diagnostic frameworks and models of care.
Bernard Davis
Dr. A. Bernard Davis has over two decades of experience in public health and community wellness. In 2017, he co-founded RAO Community Health, which prioritizes sexual health and primary care access. Under his leadership, RAO has developed vital programs for PrEP and HIV treatment, community health initiatives, and a doula program for African American maternal health. An advocate for LGBTQIA+ health equity, Dr. Davis emphasizes inclusive care and patient education for marginalized groups, sharing his expertise through lectures and publications in the field.
