A Conversation With Norma Wong and Sonya Shah
Shamanic Tools for Liberating Our True Longing
A Workshop With Langston Kahn
Two-Day Online Workshop, Three Hours Per Day
Given the current state of our world and the potential grim futures on the horizon, it can feel shameful to center our pleasure, joy, and desire. Instead, many of us learn to compartmentalize the erotic into arenas of hyper sexualization and sensation divorced from context, or we deny and distance ourselves from it entirely.
But what if forming a trusting relationship with our desire is essential for navigating into a future in service of Life? What if the Earth is speaking to us through our desire all the time and we simply need the tools to listen?
Join shamanic practitioner and healer Langston Kahn for an experiential workshop on releasing oppressive patterning, reclaiming our capacity to know satisfaction, and learning how to engage with our heart’s desire. Our desire, pleasure, and joy are the foundations of any true power we have.
In this immersive workshop participants engage in somatic movement, elemental ritual, guided meditation, animism, deep self-inquiry and other practices for engaging our desire as a compass that points us towards our purpose. Consort with the wild chaotic forces of the sacred elements and the wisdom of our bodies to help us liberate a relationship with the erotic powerful enough to guide us in weaving wholeness from the brokenness of these times. Explore grief as a teacher guiding us into relationship with what we value.
Change is possible if we focus on what we want to move towards rather than what we are fighting against. Langston invites you to reclaim our relationship with what we want for ourselves and for future generations to come.
