Practicing NeuroAffective Touch for Wholeness

A Workshop With Dr. Aline LaPierre

Two-Day Online Workshop, Three Hours Per Day

In our post-pandemic, technology-driven society, touch deprivation is ubiquitous. Yet positive touch is a universal human need, helping to connect us to the organic intelligence of our bodies.

Join pioneering somatic psychotherapist Dr. Aline LaPierre in a lively workshop exploring  NeuroAffective Touch®, a neurologically informed, integrative approach to healing developmental trauma that blends psychotherapeutic skills with the use of gentle touch to create a vital bridge to body-mind healing.

In this experiential workshop, Dr. LaPierre provides an overview of her methodology and leads various NeuroAffective Touch® self-practices to provide participants with a felt sense of how individuals and clinicians can use this approach to heal body-mind disconnections. Dr. LaPierre’s workshop introduces a new way for psychotherapists and somatic practitioners to support clients struggling to heal developmental trauma or complex PTSD because of early mis-attunement, neglect, and abuse.

By offering direct communication and support to the body at the nonverbal level where we receive our first imprints, NeuroAffective Touch® can help heal lifelong emotional traumas to reconnect us to the wholeness of our relational matrix.
