This workshop will explore ways in which Community Mental Health practitioners can work more effectively with clients who are members of neurominority groups (e.g., autistic, dyslexic, VAST/KCS), and be more effective allies to neurominority communities.

Nick Walker CIIS faculty

 

Dr. Nick Walker is a professor in CIIS’ undergraduate Psychology program. He is also the author of Neuroqueer Heresies and has been a leading thinker on neurodiversity for more than 20 years. He also teaches aikido and writes fiction and comics.
