CIIS' 57th Commencement Ceremony and Reception

Come celebrate the Graduating Class of 2025 at our Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at A.C.T.'s Toni Rembe Theater in San Francisco beginning at 1 p.m. PDT followed by a toast reception at the theater from 3-4 p.m. PDT.

For those who are unable to attend in person, we will livestream the commencement ceremony so you can join us virtually. In the coming months, we will update this page with more details. Stay tuned — we look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Guest Information

Graduates are responsible for relaying information to their guests. This includes ticket and accessibility accommodation requests as well as discounted rates at select hotels. Additional details regarding the venue, transportation, and health and safety considerations can be found below.

Faculty and Staff Information

CIIS faculty and staff can also access full details and the most up to date commencement information on CIIS Connect including forms to request regalia. Faculty regalia orders are due April 7, 2025.

• Apr 22, 2025: Regalia ordering with standard shipping final day
• May 2, 2025: Regalia ordering with expedited shipping final day

About A.C.T.'s Toni Rembe Theater

Located at 415 Geary Street, this beautiful, historic theater (formerly the Geary Theater) is a true fixture of our San Francisco community located in the heart of the Union Square shopping and theatrical district, close to public transportation and some of the finest hotels, restaurants, and cultural treasures the city has to offer.

A.C.T.'s Toni Rembe Theater is home to American Conservatory Theater, a Tony Award-winning nonprofit theater serving almost 200,000 people in the San Francisco Bay Area annually through theater, training, education and community programs. A.C.T.'s Toni Rembe Theater is fully staffed by union labor.
