Beyond Self-Care With Stacie Aamon Yeldell
A Workshop on Cultivating Daily Acts of Self-Devotion
One-Day Online Workshop, Six Hours
Many of us are feeling burnt out, stressed, or unsure how to prioritize self-care. We all want to take better care of ourselves, yet the concept of “self-love” can feel elusive because we often miss that the “love” in “self-love” is a verb. Self-love requires tending—effort and practice—throughout the ebbs-and-flow of our lives. By caring for your spirit, you can experience an abundance of creative energy, allowing you to express, heal, and love yourself.
Join CIIS faculty, seasoned expert in mental health and wellness, and music psychotherapist, Stacie Aamon Yeldell for a nourishing workshop on cultivating communion with yourself through daily self-devotional practices and rituals.
Stacie teaches you to move beyond self-care to self-devotion. What you need in any given moment is unique to you, your lifestyle, and your spirit. By identifying your core need, you can create rituals that truly support you. Rooted in evidence-based approaches such as music psychotherapy and mindfulness, Stacie guides you to identify your core wellness needs and design a personalized list of self-devotional practices for establishing a daily grounding ritual tailored to your lifestyle.
In Stacie’s experiential workshop, explore practical methods for incorporating mindfulness, visioning, and creative arts-based interventions to foster resilience and holistic care. Stacie offers simple and effective wellness strategies you can immediately apply to enhance your own well-being, or support your therapeutic clients in doing the same.
Learn how to use guided breathing, vocal activation, and music-enhanced mindfulness practices to promote emotional regulation and reduce stress. Uncover daily practices that support, nurture, and sustain your mental and emotional well-being in less than 15 minutes a day. Move beyond “analysis paralysis” with a soothing and inspiring guided meditation, enhanced by live guitar, and guided visualization.
Stacie invites you to create a sustainable map for cultivating communion with yourself so that you can experience an abundance of creative energy, allowing for expression, healing, and deep self-love.
