The Community Mental Health Scholarship Fund
CIIS is Building a Community Mental Health Scholarship
If you're inspired by the mission of Community Mental Health at California Institute of Integral Studies, consider donating $50, $75, $100, or $200 to our new Scholarship Fund. Your contribution will directly support scholarship awards for current or prospective graduate students with financial need.
Many students who choose the Community Mental Health concentration in Counseling Psychology at CIIS come from the communities they hope to serve as clinicians in the future. Many identify as BIPOC/Bodies of Culture or as LGBTQIA2+. Many are also bilingual/bicultural, first-generation graduate students, and/or the first or second generation of their family to be born in the U.S. Being from marginalized communities poses special challenges in the mental health field, and affording graduate school is often a huge financial burden for these students. Scholarships go a long way toward alleviating this burden and helping students launch their careers as clinicians.
You can use the form below to make a gift by credit card. If you would prefer to make a gift via check, wire transfer, or securities, or by including CIIS in your estate plans, please visit How to Give for more information. You can also contact the CIIS Office of Advancement at give@ciis.edu.
Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Community Mental Health students and thereby investing in a mental healthcare system that provides culturally responsive care to all communities.
