Additional Information
The Mission of the Child Parent Institute is to end child abuse.
Our therapists support the children and families that need it the most: Families with child welfare involvement, Latinx/e families, pregnant and postpartum parents, students who need therapeutic support, children aged 0-5, and families who rely on Medi-Cal Services.
We serve families that want to make the lives of their children and themselves better but may lack the resources, knowledge, or support to do that.
By intervening early, meeting families where they are with respect and dignity, and coming from a strengths based perspective in our work - we help.
By using a trauma informed approach, working relationally, strengthening attachment, and providing parenting support - we help.
Our therapeutic work strengthens families, and keeps kids in our community safe.
We accept trainees in our counseling clinic, our schools based programs - which includes juvenile diversion programming, and at our small-non-public,-IEP driven school.
