Who Should Apply

The Certificate program is designed for anyone who has a strong interest in learning about the transformative and healing powers of sound, including health care professionals, psychologists, clinicians, educators, musicians, singers, sound healers, music therapists, yoga practitioners, body workers, and spiritual seekers.

No previous experience in sound healing or in any of the aforementioned fields is required in order to apply.

CIIS’s Sound, Voice, and Music Healing Certificate program offers a combination of weekday evening and weekend intensives throughout the academic year, making it especially appealing to working professionals and adult learners.

Students must be willing to commit to the Certificate’s time requirement, which includes 200 class hours and special projects over the course of ten months.

With a certificate from CIIS Public Programs’ Sound, Voice, and Music Healing program, students should be better equipped to serve as practitioners, specialists, volunteers, interns, or even as members of a multidisciplinary treatment team within a health center or a community agency, as well as in a private healing or counseling practice.
