Spirit in the Arts at California
Institute of Integral Studies celebrates
creativity and the divine. Informed by Eastern
and Western artistic traditions, Spirit
in the Arts offers art exhibits, lectures,
and workshops that integrate the spiritual
and the aesthetic aspects of the human experience.
This fall, the exhibits range from devotional
to documentary, and embody a breadth of
media, including installation art, touch
drawing, and portrait photography. CIIS's
unique art offerings demonstrate the strength
that comes from life experiences and the
multiple ways to traverse the spiritual
path — expressed by this year's artists
through the Vedic sciences, studies from
the natural world, diverse cultural perspectives,
and the beauty of creative ritual. Click
