Driving Directions

FROM THE SOUTH BAY:
• Take 101 North to 9th Street exit. Travel NORTH on 9th St.
• Take a LEFT onto Mission. CIIS will be on your left between 10th and 11th.
• There is a parking lot on 10th. As 10th is a one way street, continue on Mission to 11th. Turn right onto 11th, go one block and turn right onto Market St. Proceed one block on Market and turn right onto 10th St. There will be two parking lots, one on either side of 10th St., before you hit Mission St.

FROM THE EAST BAY:
• Drive over the Bay Bridge (I-80) and exit on 9th St/Civic Center.
• Turn LEFT onto Harrison and RIGHT onto 11th.
• Turn RIGHT onto Mission and CIIS will be on right hand side of street.
• To park, continue straight on 11th to Market St. Turn right onto Market St. Proceed one block and turn right onto 10th St. There will be two parking lots, one on either side of 10th St. before you hit Mission St.

FROM THE NORTH BAY:
• Drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. Once you've crossed the bridge (heading South), take the second exit onto Lombard St./Downtown SF. This will feed you onto Lombard St.
• Take Lombard St. for about 3 miles. Turn RIGHT (South) onto Van Ness. Go about 5 miles.
• Turn LEFT onto Fell St. When you cross Market Street, Fell Street becomes 10th Street. Follow 10th one block to Mission Street. Make a RIGHT onto Mission. The school is on the left-hand side before 11th Street

WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO:
FROM THE EAST:
• Take Market Street WEST and stay in the right lane
• Turn RIGHT onto Van Ness Ave., then make an immediate RIGHT onto Fell Street. Get into the left lane.
• When you cross Market Street, Fell Street becomes 10th Street. Follow 10th one block to Mission Street. Make a RIGHT onto Mission. The school is on the left-hand side before 11th Street.

FROM THE NORTH:
• Take Van Ness Avenue SOUTH and stay in the left lane.
• Turn LEFT onto Fell Street, which is one block before Market Street. Stay in the left lane.
• When you cross Market Street, Fell Street becomes 10th Street. Follow 10th one block to Mission Street. Make a RIGHT onto Mission. The school is on the left-hand side before 11th Street

FROM THE SOUTH:
• Take South Van Ness Avenue NORTH. When you pass Market Street, take your next right onto Fell Street. Get into the left lane.
• When you cross Market Street, Fell Street becomes 10th Street. Follow 10th one block to Mission Street. Make a RIGHT onto Mission. The school is on the left-hand side before 11th Street

BIKING TO CIIS

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
By Bus: San Francisco's Municipal Railway (MUNI) offers a large fleet of buses, trolleys, trains, and cable cars that can take you throughout the city on public transit. MUNI lines that run close to CIIS are the 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 26, 47. The J,K,L,M,N lines can be taken to the Van Ness/Market MUNI Station, one block from CIIS. Fare: $1.50 ($.50 for those over 65). By BART: Take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Civic Center - 8th and Market BART Station. Exit at 8th Street, and walk down Market to 10th Street. FROM THE SOUTH BAY/AIRPORT:
From San Francisco International Airport: Take the SuperShuttle from the airport directly to CIIS at 1453 Mission Street, between 10th St. and 11th St. No reservations are needed in advance. You can pick up the SuperShuttle at a number of outside stops, one level up from the baggage claim. The cost is $15, and guarantees no more than three stops. Parking: Central Parking Systems. 800 Jessie St Between Mission & Market on 10th. **Meters are free after 6:00 p.m. and all day Sundays.
